Occupational Therapy
We provide a wide range of Occupational Therapy services, including Assessments, Treatmentment and Consultancy for Adults & Children with various conditions and disabilities. We understand how a person's condition impacts how they manage daily tasks and interact with their home environment. We identify risks, barriers and opportunities for increased independence, and use clinical reasoning to recommend the most effective interventions, adaptations, equipment and support. Every assessment is tailored to the individual and grounded in real-life need.

Our Occupational Therapists provide tailored, practical support to help people live safely, comfortably and independently at home. We work closely with individuals, families and professionals to understand what matters most, identify risks or barriers, and provide clear solutions.
This can include:
- Recommending specialist equipment
- Planning adaptations
- Introducing Assistive Technology
- Supporting Rehabilitation after injury
- Helping clients navigate funding routes such as the DFG.
Whatever the situation, our role is to give expert guidance, remove complexity and create realistic, meaningful improvements in everyday life.

Our OTs have experience across a wide range of conditions and complex needs, providing rehabilitation, equipment guidance and adaptation recommendations.
We regularly work with:
- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) & neurological conditions
(Stroke, TBI, brain haemorrhage, MS, Parkinson’s, FND)
- Spinal cord injury and complex mobility needs.
- Amputations
- Orthopaedic conditions & trauma
- Long-term conditions (arthritis, COPD, cardiac, chronic pain)
- Progressive and degenerative conditions
- Age-related decline & frailty

Adaptation Design
We provide tailored design solutions for a wide range of needs, from simple access improvements through to complex, multi-space adaptations. This includes measured surveys, concept layouts, technical drawings, specifications and detailed planning advice. Working closely with our OT, equipment and project management teams, we ensure each design is practical, future-proof and ready for smooth delivery on site. Our role is to turn functional needs into clear, workable plans that contractors can build from confidently.

Specialist Equipment
We support a wide range of specialist equipment needs, including hoists and ceiling track systems, bathing equipment, toileting and hygiene aids, pressure care, seating, mobility equipment, complex moving and handling solutions and smart assistive technology. Working closely with our OTs, designers and project managers, we ensure every piece of equipment is suitable, safe and future-proof. Our service also includes inspection, servicing, warranty management and replacement planning for complete peace of mind.

We provide a complete equipment service, handling everything from assessment and product selection through to supply, installation, insurance and ongoing maintenance. Our team ensures each item is fitted correctly, functions as intended and is integrated with any wider adaptation or design plans. Whether someone needs a single piece of equipment or a full package, we offer clear guidance and coordinated support to make the process simple and stress-free.

We offer an independent, clinically-led equipment service with full access to the market, meaning we can recommend the most suitable product rather than being tied to a single manufacturer or brand. Our team delivers an end-to-end service — assessing, supplying, installing, insuring and maintaining every item — so clients have one point of contact throughout. Whether it’s a hoist, bathing solution, seating system, mobility aid or specialist assistive technology, if you need it, we can source it, fit it and keep it working safely. This joined-up approach ensures you receive the right equipment, correctly installed, and supported for the long term.

Rehabilitation
We deliver specialist Occupational Therapy rehabilitation for individuals recovering following personal injury or clinical negligence. Our focus is on restoring functional ability, increasing independence and enabling people to return to meaningful everyday activities. We work closely with individuals, families, case managers, solicitors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver rehabilitation programmes that are goal-orientated and evidence-based.

Rehabilitation begins with a detailed functional assessment and collaborative goal setting to identify priorities that matter most to the individual. We then create a structured, measurable rehabilitation plan and review progress regularly. Support may include graded activity programmes, rebuilding ADL and IADL skills, cognitive and executive function rehabilitation, fatigue and pain management strategies, community reintegration, assistive technology integration and return to meaningful occupation. We focus on maximising independence, reducing long-term risk and enabling clients to rebuild skills and routines essential to everyday life.

Our rehabilitation service is led by experienced Occupational Therapists and designed specifically for individuals recovering from personal injury or clinical negligence. Our interventions are measurable, outcome-focused and designed to support both immediate progress and long-term functional gains. With clear documentation, strong clinical reasoning and a joined-up hub model that includes equipment and adaptation expertise, we deliver rehabilitation that is practical, person-centred and focused on long-term outcomes.

Tendering & Project Management
We provide a complete tendering and project management service to deliver our home adaptations safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This includes preparing detailed specifications, obtaining competitive quotes from reputable contractor, reviewing costs and scope, managing timelines, and overseeing delivery on site. Our role is to ensure your adaptation is completed correctly, with minimal stress and maximum confidence.

We coordinate each stage in a structured way, from producing clear documentation and tender packs, to helping select the right contractor based on quality, suitability and value. Once works begin, we oversee communication between all parties, monitor progress, troubleshoot issues quickly, and carry out quality checks to ensure the finished works meet the agreed clinical and technical requirements. We keep everything joined-up across OT, design, equipment and contractors so nothing gets missed and the individuals needs are met.

Many adaptation projects fail due to poor coordination, unclear specifications and a disconnect between assessment, design and build. Our project management is different because it is integrated with our multidisciplinary hub — Occupational Therapists, surveyors and equipment specialists are involved throughout. This reduces delays, prevents costly mistakes, and ensures the final adaptation genuinely supports independence, safety and long-term usability. Clients benefit from one point of contact, clearer accountability, and a smoother project from start to finish.

Disabled Facilities Grant Support
We are a North West-based Home Improvement Agency (HIA) dedicated to improving home environments for individuals with long-term conditions and disabilities. We provide expert support with the Disabled Facilities Grant process, helping clients and families access funding for essential home adaptations. We help people navigate the DFG process, from preparing the necessary reports, completing application paperwork, to liaising with local authorities. We simplify a complex system with our experienced end-to-end service, all managed under one roof.

We start by understanding the person’s functional needs and the barriers within the home, then guide clients through each stage of the DFG journey. This may include completing OT assessments, producing clear recommendations, supporting communication with local authorities, undertaking design surveys and specifications, and ensuring the adaptation plan is reasonable and practicable. We also help clients understand what evidence is required and what options are available, so decisions are based on need, not convenience.

The DFG process can be frustrating, slow, inconsistent and difficult to navigate. We have expert knowledge and are fully compliant with legislation and best practice guidance for Disabled Facilities Grants. Our unique approach is that we combine clinical OT expertise with technical design, equipment and project management — all within one hub. This joined-up approach reduces delays, avoids duplication, strengthens the evidence behind recommendations and helps ensure adaptations are approved and delivered properly.

Reports
We produce clear, evidence-based reports to support funding applications, housing decisions, rehabilitation planning and medico-legal cases. Our reports identify functional needs, highlight risk and barriers within the home environment, and provide practical recommendations for equipment, adaptations, rehabilitation and long-term support. Reports can be prepared for individuals, families and professionals including case managers, solicitors and local authorities.

Every report is built from robust assessment and sound clinical reasoning. We complete detailed functional assessment, gather relevant background information and ensure recommendations are realistic, proportionate and deliverable. Where appropriate, we work collaboratively across our hub — incorporating surveying input, design feasibility and equipment considerations — so recommendations are technically viable as well as clinically appropriate. Our reporting is structured, objective and written to a consistently high professional standard.

High-quality reports can be the difference between delays and progress — or between an adaptation being approved, rejected or incorrectly delivered. Our strength is that we combine OT clinical expertise with a unique multidisciplinary hub model, meaning our reports consider the full picture: the person, the property, the practicalities and long-term independence. Clients and professionals choose us for clarity, credibility, well-justified recommendations and documentation that supports confident decision-making.

Property Finding
We help individuals and families find properties that are suitable for disability needs now and in the future. This includes identifying homes with good access potential, assessing suitability for equipment and adaptations, and advising on whether a property can be realistically modified to support safe, independent living. We support clients who are relocating, moving after injury, or seeking more accessible accommodation.

We combine clinical insight with in-house occupational therapists who have practical housing knowledge to assess a property beyond what most buyers consider. Our surveyors review access, layout, space standards, stairs, bathroom feasibility, bedroom options, parking, and the potential for key adaptations such as level access showers, ramps, lifts, extensions or hoisting. Where needed, we carry out functional assessments, provide written recommendations, and our OTs and surveyors work together to confirm feasibility and cost implications before a decision is made.

Other property finding services do not combine clinical expertise with adaptation design, meaning property decisions are made without understanding how disability needs affect long-term suitability leading to costly mistakes, avoidable moves, or homes that still don’t work. Our service is different because it is shaped by Occupational Therapy and specialist adaptation design expertise. We help clients choose properties based on function, access and future-proof potential, reducing risk and ensuring the home supports independence rather than creating new barriers. As a multidisciplinary hub, we can also support the full journey — from property search through to design, equipment and adaptation delivery.

Accomodation
Supported Spaces is our accessible accommodation service, providing high-quality, disability-friendly short-term stays designed to support independence, rehabilitation and respite. Our properties are thoughtfully adapted with accessibility in mind, offering a safe and comfortable environment for wheelchair users and individuals with complex needs. Whether you require temporary accommodation following injury, during home adaptation works, or for a supported break away, Supported Spaces offers a practical solution with the reassurance of an OT-led approach to accessibility.
